ST-JFT Transient Earth Voltage Smart PD Sensor
Overview: When partial discharge occurs, voltage and current pulse signals propagate along the inner surface of the metal enclosure of the test object. When encountering openings, joints, and other gaps, they exit the device and propagate along the outer surface of the metal enclosure to the ground. The instantaneous voltage value varies from a few millivolts to a few volts and exists for a very short time. After the discharge pulses are detected by an external capacitive probe, they undergo a series of amplification, filtering, and other processing before entering the acquisition unit for processing. Finally, the test software analyzes and processes the discharge signal. This series of products uses the transient earth voltage (TEV) detection method for partial discharge detection, suitable for online monitoring of insulation status of high-voltage switchgear, with the characteristics of non-contact detection, strong anti-interference capability, and high detection sensitivity.
