ST-JFU UHF Smart Sensor
Overview: In the insulation medium of electrical equipment, each partial discharge event involves the neutralization of positive and negative charges, accompanied by a very steep current pulse that radiates electromagnetic waves to the surrounding area. The UHF (300M-3GHz) sensor receives the UHF electromagnetic waves radiated by partial discharge, achieving partial discharge detection. This method is called the ultra-high frequency detection method for partial discharge. Research shows that each partial discharge process is accompanied by the neutralization of positive and negative charges and produces steep current pulses, providing an effective means for early warning of insulation faults in electrical equipment.
