ST-JFUG GIS UHF PD Sensor

Overview: When partial discharge occurs, voltage and current pulse signals propagate along the inner surface of the metal enclosure of the test object. When encountering openings, joints, and other gaps, they exit the device and propagate along the outer surface of the metal enclosure to the ground. The instantaneous voltage value varies from a few millivolts to a few volts and exists for a very short time. After the discharge pulses are detected by an external capacitive probe, they undergo a series of amplification, filtering, and other processing before entering the acquisition unit for processing. Finally, the test software analyzes and processes the discharge signal. This product is an ultra-high frequency (UHF) intelligent partial discharge sensor specifically designed for GIS (Gas-Insulated Switchgear), with frequency band and sensitivity optimized for GIS partial discharge characteristics. It can detect partial discharge signals generated inside GIS in real time, providing important basis for GIS insulation status assessment and fault early warning. Suitable for online monitoring of various types of GIS insulation status.
