ST-JFAT 2-in-1 PD Sensor (Ultrasonic + TEV)
Overview: When partial discharge occurs, voltage and current pulse signals propagate along the inner surface of the metal enclosure of the test object. When encountering openings, joints, and other gaps, they exit the device and propagate along the outer surface of the metal enclosure to the ground. The instantaneous voltage value varies from a few millivolts to a few volts and exists for a very short time. After the discharge pulses are detected by an external capacitive probe, they undergo a series of amplification, filtering, and other processing before entering the acquisition unit for processing. Finally, the test software analyzes and processes the discharge signal. This product integrates ultrasonic and transient earth voltage (TEV) detection methods in one, capable of detecting partial discharge signals through two complementary methods, improving detection accuracy and reliability, suitable for comprehensive insulation status monitoring of high-voltage switchgear.
